He’s an attorney, honorary professor at the Humboldt University of Berlin, keynote speaker and a highly gifted speaker. And soon also a Certified Speaking Professional. The US National Speakers Association (NSA) will be presenting Prof. Volker Roemermann the award of Certified Speaking Professional. This advances him to the elite circles of the best speakers in the world.
Not even ten percent of the thousands of members of the National Speakers Association are awarded this honor. In the German-speaking region twelve speakers have been awarded this honor so far, in Canada for example it’s 35. The selection criteria are clearly defined. Only those who can demonstrate a minimum number of clients, lectures and excellent ratings, among other things, will be considered for a Certified Speaking Professional nomination. Professor Roemermann appeared overwhelmed to that effect prior to the award ceremony: “I’m very honored to receive this award from the National Speakers Association. This truly represents a very great deal of praise and recognition for my work as a professional speaker.”
The National Speakers Association is considered the leader for professional trainers and speakers in the USA. Since its foundation in 1973 it has been offering members a vast range of resources and continuing education to optimize the skills of speakers. The NSA convention is held annually with an extensive program of workshops, networking opportunities and evening events, at which the CSP award is presented. This year the convention will be held in San Diego, CA, USA in late June.
